At Last, We're Finally Here!

Ahhhhh at long last, after eight years of running our brick and mortar store, we are online!

We have been wanting to do this for a long time, and we have had so many of our shoppers ask us when we’re going to finally make the move. We’re happy to announce that the time has finally come!

We’re a social enterprise operated by YWCA Cambridge. The staff at YW have been running this little shop – along with the help of our fantastic volunteers – off the sides of our desks. Moving the store online is a massive, massive undertaking. However, with the closure of our physical location at 55 Dickson St. during this COVID-19 pandemic, we haven’t been able to sell any of our stunning spring/summer stock. We can tell you that this reality was a very effective motivator in getting us to make our online presence a priority, and finally make this website happen.

So here we are! And we’re so excited to continue getting more and more of our gorgeous products online and to begin reconnecting with all of our favourite loyal customers. Yes, you CAN finally get the latest Bryn Walker and Sympli, among so many other beautiful lines.

We’re very lucky because we found Jen Gordon at Pineapple Flags to help us build this beautiful website you see right here. She saved us thousands of hours and gifted us with her wildly creative ideas.

What you can expect from WIGG Online

Well, you won’t have the pleasure of interacting with our wonderful volunteers who love helping you put together that perfect look (they miss you!). However, you will have an easy-to-navigate website with all of your products available for delivery. You’ll also see any upcoming events and promotions we have, including our famous Day With Lynn Spence events.

Every purchase gives back

As you know, we are a social enterprise. That means that every purchase you make gives back to our community here in Cambridge. All profits from Women’s International Gift & Gallery go straight into YWCA Cambridge programming with cis and trans women and girls, non-binary and two-spirit individuals. It helps us to support some of our community’s most vulnerable folks and empower them with vital life skills.

So thank you in advance. Thank you for helping us continue this work that we do. This work is often forgotten in public policy and the general public, which means getting the funding to run our healthy relationships workshops, our STEM programming, all of our programming that aims to empower participants, is difficult.

Now go on! Check out what we’ve got in store for you! And remember that any purchase you make has a positive impact on our community.
