Hides In Hands

Teresa Paul is the owner and a designer of hides in hands. With a background in seamstress skill, retail and merchandising Teresa started the business in 1996. Teresa wanted to make a product that reflected our Canadian landscape and the hand crafting skills. In the 1800's Acton was nicknames "Leathertown" for their quality products. To this day Hides In Hands has a respectful relationship with local tanneries that supplies hides, handed in by local hunters.

The first take off was the "Moose Mit", 25 years later Hides in Hands has expanded to bags, moccasins and more. Hides In Hands employs skilled craftsmen to ensure that all items are handmade and Canadian.
